Ines Meneses was born in Brazil and has shared her life between the United States and Brazil.
Currently based in São Paulo, Brazil, Ines provides worldwide training, coaching, and consulting on cross-cultural issues. She is the founder of United Globe Consulting. Ines designs and delivers programs in Brazil on behalf of United Globe Consulting and other worldwide training companies. Ines also presents online as a Brazil country and business resource. Ines is also a coach certified by Integrated Coaching Institute. In the U.S., Ines worked at Motorola as a global project manager. Ines has led several global virtual teams of up to 26 people, 10 time zones, and 9 countries. Her teams have included people located in Japan, China, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and United States. She managed projects to automate exchange of data between Motorola and major clients. Ines was also a Diversity leader and led her organization to win the Diversity Organization of the Year 2003 Award (an internal Motorola competition). In Brazil, Ines worked as a consultant in Geographic Information Systems at Geografia de Mercado, serving corporations such as McDonald’s, Blockbuster, and Safra Bank. In her consulting projects, Ines advised foreign companies on how to successfully expand and compete in the Brazilian market. She completed her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Information Management at the University of Texas at Austin. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo, Brazil. Ines is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), credential granted by Project Management Institute. Ines is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and Spanish. Ines volunteers time to the community as the leader of the project Coaching nas Escolas. This project unites professional coaches and public school teachers to enhance the quality of education for low income students. She has traveled in the Americas (US, Mexico, and Brazil) and around Asia (Japan, China, India, Indonesia, and Thailand). Ines holds a Black Belt in Aikido, the Japanese martial art of harmony and balance.
